Stories from Heaven and Hell

Press Release

Internationally acclaimed social satirist Janice Perry presents her irreverent, provocative, and very funny fusion of monologues, costumes, and physical comedy… revealing miracles in the midst of modern life.

Janice's playful, intelligent monologues, inventive costumes, wild gestures and soaring vocals, powered by provocative text and physical comedy, informs, delights and speaks to the concerns of the audience, regardless of their social, political, sexual or cultural identification.
The evening includes a retelling of the birth Aphrodite, a re-interpretation of the lives of St Katharine, St. Francis and St Lucy, an
Andrew Lloyd Webber musical - Joan! about every girl's favorite Saint. And a surprising seduction scene featuring Tonto and the Lone Ranger.
Supported in part by the Vermont Community Foundation, the Vermont Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
